Current Everyday Make-Up

I'm one of them people who loves knowing people's everyday make-up. It can really give you a little look into who they are as a person. Like what sort of lipstick or blusher they wear. So for today's post, I thought I would show you mine! It is a very natural everyday look with just a nude lip!

Products Used:
- E45 Cream Moisturiser.
-Benefit Porefessional.
-Revlon ColourStay Foundation (Shade 180 Sand Beige).
-Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (to cover blemishes).
-CoverGirl Ready Set Gorgeous Concealer (for under eyes highlighting).
-BareMinerals Pressed Powder (Shade Translucent).
-Benefit Hoola Bronzer.
-MAC Mineralize (Shade Soft & Gentle).
-Benefit Brow Kit (Shade Medium & use the wax only).
-Urban Decay Eyeshadow (Shade Tease also for eyebrows).
-Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer (to highlight brow bone).
-Benefit Roller Lash.
-Benefit They're Real (used with Roller Lash).
-MAC Lip Liner (Shade Subculture).
-MAC Lipstick (Shade Shanghai Spice).

Everyone's Make-Up Routine is unique to them, meaning most of the products they use work for them. Also, everyone's routines will change over time as they discover new products which create different looks or work better with their skin. Mine has stayed relatively the same with a few changes to foundation and eyebrow products.

My favourite product in this has to be the foundation. This is the first foundation that matches my skin tone perfectly and works well with my skin type which I would call combination (having both dry and oily areas). It has a good and even coverage and I just love it!

I use a subtle contour and highlight by blending it out as much as possible, which also makes it look as natural as possible. They are both very warm shades which also works well with my skin tone. I then use two brow products as one is for shaping the brow and the other for filling in the sparse areas.

Then I like to combine the two benefit mascaras. Roller Lash lengthens and darkens my lashes where as They're Real separates them and makes them look voluminous. Always try mixing some products as some can turn out to be holy grail products like mine!

Lastly, to finish off this look I love to add a nude lip. They look so classy and any eye look will usually always match it. This is my favourite combo at the moment for a sheer look. But for a matte look; the MAC Lipstick in Honey Love is beautiful!

I hope you enjoyed reading this! What's your favourite product in your everyday make-up routine?

This Or That?

I thought for my first proper post, I would do one that would help you understand me a little more. It will give you an insight into my view on everything beauty related! By the way I didn't write this, I found it on my Facebook News Feed so feel free to copy it and use it yourself!

MAKEUP
Blusher or bronzer?
Bronzer all the way! It stops me from looking like a blank potato and adds definition!

Lip gloss or lipstick?

Lipstick as it lasts longer and they have more matte shades. Plus, lipgloss gets annoying and sticks to everything!

Eyeliner or mascara?
Mascara by far. I've not yet perfected winged eyeliner and people always notice when I'm not wearing mascara!

Foundation or concealer?
Foundation as I prefer a full coverage all round.

Neutral or colour eye shadow?
Neutral as they suit any look and most lipsticks go well with it!

Pressed or loose eye shadow?
Pressed purely because I own more of them.

Brushes or sponges?
If I had to choose; brushes because they are practical for everything. However, I love using a sponge on my concealer.

NAILS
OPI or china glaze?
OPI because I've always had a better experience with them and they have a wider range of colours.

Long or short?
Long all the way. I struggle with everyday tasks without long nails as I'm so used to them now.

Acrylic or natural?
I guess my answer would be acrylic? I hate my natural nails and always have Fibre Glass nails on which are the same as acrylics but don't damage your nails and can be soaked off. (Might do a blogpost of these!)

Bright's or darks?
I love pastel shades but the majority of my clothes are dark and a dark lip always looks good.

BODY
Perfume or body splash?
Perfume, however some are ridiculously over priced.

Lotion or body butter?
Body butter is better for the skin but lotion as it sinks in faster and smell better.

Body wash or soap?
Body wash as they're fresh and always help wake me up in the mornings.

Lush or any other bath company?
Lush because it smells so good.

FASHION
Jeans or sweat pants?
I live in jeans. I don't know what I would do without them.

Long sleeve or short?
Long, because they're cosier and make an outfit look cute.

Dresses or skirts?
Skirts. They're so much easier to work with and can be worn more often, with a different top.

Stripes or plaid?

Stripes. It's simple but cute.

Flip flops or sandals?
Sandals. Primark have the best range and they are amazing prices!

Scarves or hats?
Scarves as I don't suit hats much and scarves make you feel cosy.

Studs or dangly earrings?
I don't own a pair of dangly earrings so it would have to be studs.

Necklaces or bracelets?
Bracelets such as charm bracelets. One of mine remembers a different person for each charm.

Heels or flats?
Heels make an outfit so much more glamorous, no matter how much I complain.

Cowboy boots or riding boots?
I don't ride so I guess cowboy. with jeans a cute checked flannel, they would look great!

Jacket or hoodie?
Jacket because I can undo them and I look like a hobo in a hoodie.

Abercrombie or Hollister?
Hollister because it is prettier and more floral. However, I miss Gilly Hicks! They're underwear was my favourite ever!

HAIR
Curly or straight?
CURLY 100%. Well when I can be bothered to do it.

Bun or ponytail?
Ponytail. Both make me look like an egg but ponytail tends to less.

Bobby pins or butterfly clips?
Bobby pins can do more, they can be used for so many different styles.

Hair spray or gel?
Hair spray. I hate the feel of gel.

Long or short?
Both look gorgeous but for myself, long hair.

Light or dark?
I would love to go light but it just wouldn't suit me (well my eyebrows!) so I would have to say dark.

Side sweep bangs or full bangs?
Supporting the side sweep here as I used to have them when I was younger.

Up or down?
I prefer it down as it's a lot more natural, but when I get hope it's straight up into a pony!

I hope this will let you get to know me a little better!

Starting From Scratch

Welcome! I have finally decided to set up my own blog after a lot of debating on whether I should or not. A little space on the internet dedicated to mainly lifestyle and beauty, as well as a few other bits on the side. I hope some posts will inspire you, whether that be recreating a make-up look I post, purchasing something I have reviewed or to go somewhere that I have visited and written about!

To know I could have helped someone out with a little something, then this blog to me is worth doing. I hope you find something on my blog to read about and maybe even inspire you!

Happy New Year! I hope 2016 brings you all happiness and health. Own this year and make it a good one!
